April 9, 2023: Owens Valley & Alabama Hills (Inyo County, California)
The Owens Valley is a little higher in elevation (about 4000'-5000') than a lot of the other places I visited on this trip, so it was still pretty early for most wildflowers. Fortunately, I was able to see the scarlet milk-vetch in the Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine.
