This was actually an all-day sightseeing trip that went all the way through the Columbia River Gorge to a few miles past the Dalles, and then up the Hood River valley and around Mount Hood on the way back to Portland; that's why there are a few photos from Wahkeena Falls and the crest of the Columbia Hills.
