June 7-11, 2022: Southeastern Oregon

I stopped at Little Summit Prairie on my way east to John Day. Then I headed southeast through Burns to the hot springs and playas below the rim of Steens Mountain, and spent a couple nights along Arizona Creek in the Pueblo Mountains. On the way back north, I visited the south leg of the Steens Mountain Loop Road and then Diamond Craters. After another night in John Day, I visited Summit Prairie and Logan Valley on the south side of the Strawberry Range.
