April 6, 22, & 30, 2019: Camassia Natural Area (West Linn, Oregon)

I visited Camassia three times in the month of April. It was a very late spring for wildflowers on the West Coast; on 4/6, the camas was only just budding, but there was a fair amount of rosy plectritis, and fawn lilies and small-flowered trillium in the woods. On 4/22, the camas was getting close to its peak bloom. On 4/30, the camas was probably at peak, but the midday sun made for difficult lighting conditions, so I mostly took pictures of bees.
