August 6, 2020: Mount Whitney (Inyo National Forest, California)
I'd tried to summit Mt. Whitney in 2017 but was turned around by thunderstorms about 2000 vertical feet from the summit. I got a permit again this year and had perfect weather... but my god, it was hard.
