August 19, 2005: A whole pile of us carpooled up to Timberline Lodge, then hiked 1 mile and 1000 feet up to the Silcox Warming Hut to watch the sun set and the full moon rise while having a little picnic at 7000 feet. (The blurry guy to the right of the picnic table with the trails of light on his head is me, playing my guitar with a headlamp on.) |
