April 8, 2023: Lava Beds National Monument (Modoc County, California)
Normally there'd be a decent amount of wildflowers blooming at Lava Beds by early April... but it was a very cold winter, so sagebrush buttercups were pretty much the only thing blooming. But I didn't have much time to explore anyway, as I was on my way down to the Mojave Desert.
