April 9-15, 2023: Mojave Desert & Death Valley, California

I was going to do this trip in March, but a very cold winter pushed it back to April. It wasn't technically a "superbloom" year, and in fact Death Valley had a pretty dry winter — but some of the surrounding areas got plenty of rain, and eastern Kern County had some amazing wildflowers.
