Saxifraga monticola (Saxifraga caespitosa ssp. monticola)

This plant is an exact match for the drawing and herbarium specimens found here: http://swbiodiversity.org/seinet/taxa/index.php?taxon=11819 -- but I can't find out anything about it online. The labels on the herbarium sheet aren't even consistent. So it might be Saxifraga caespitosa ssp. caespitosa, but it might also be Saxifraga caespitosa var. lemmonii, Saxifraga caespitosa ssp. monticola, Saxifraga monticola, or even Muscaria monticola. (And sometimes caespitosa is spelled "cespitosa.") Its leaves are very different than any other saxifrage that I've seen.
