I learned while sorting through and identifying these photos that most of the wildflowers and trees I found on Kaua'i are non-native, and many of them are classified as "invasive." Some of the exceptions are
'ohia lehua,
hala,
ti,
iliau,
pukiawe,
na'ena'e,
and most of the
ferns.
