February 12, 2006: Ghost Ridge/Tri-County Ridge snowshoeing
The ridge that sits just west of the PCT on the south side of Highway 35 is informally called "Ghost Ridge" after Ghost Creek, which starts on the flanks of the ridge. But because there's an official Ghost Ridge on the northeast side of Mt. Hood, the OregonHikers.org community decided that this one should be called "Tri-County Ridge" instead, since the intersection of Clackamas, Hood River, and Wasco counties lies on its crest.
